On April 16, the Career Day at Campus Buch invites to explore possible career paths beyond academia, hearing from professionals who have made this transition, and connecting with organizations on campus.

The program is structured in two parts:

09:00–12:00

“Transition Possible: Explore Careers Beyond R&D” hosted by Helmholtz Information & Data Science Academy
A virtual event streamed in the BioCube. Speakers will discuss career paths outside research and share perspectives on moving from academia into other professional fields. The session will be followed by lunch.

13:00–18:00

“Transition Possible: Explore Careers on Campus Buch” hosted by the Max Delbrück Center
An in-person event in the BioCube featuring companies and organizations based on Campus Buch. Participants can meet representatives directly, learn about their work, and discuss potential career opportunities.

The program combines talks, lab tours, HR expert consultation sessions, and direct contact with possible employers — offering time to gather ideas, ask questions, and reflect on possible next steps.
